Information you give me. If you fill out the contact form, leave a comment, or sign up for my newsletter, I collect the details you submit, such as your name and email address, and your message or comment.

Email newsletter

If you subscribe to my newsletter, your name and email address are stored with Kit (kit.com), my email service provider, which sends my emails and helps me track basic engagement such as opens and clicks. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. Kit's practices are described in its Privacy Policy.

I do not sell or rent my email list.

Comments and contact form

If you leave a comment, I collect the name, email address, and IP address you provide so I can display your comment, respond to you, and help prevent spam. Your name and comment may be publicly visible. Your email address is not displayed.

Social media

I do not use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel or the Pinterest Tag on this site. If you click a link to a social media site such as Pinterest, Instagram, or Facebook, that site's own privacy policy applies, and I don't control what they collect.

This site contains links to other websites. I'm not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and I encourage you to read their policies.

Sharing your information

I do not sell your personal information for money. I share information only with service providers that help me run the site and my business, including my web host, analytics provider, email provider, advertising partners, and affiliate partners, as described above, or when required by law or to protect my rights or the safety of others.

How long I keep information

I keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, unless the law requires longer. Newsletter subscribers stay on my list until they unsubscribe. Comments stay on the site until they are removed.

I take reasonable steps to protect the information collected through this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security.

You may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Where required, I rely on your consent for cookies used for advertising and analytics.
